This page outlines the terms and conditions of your product warranty, including coverage details, duration, and steps for initiating a claim. Our goal is to ensure your experience with IZI products remains exceptional—even when things don’t go as planned.

Warranty Registration Window

To be eligible for warranty service, customers must register their product within 15 days from the date of delivery. If warranty is not registered within the activation period, coverage may be affected or denied. Please ensure you retain and share a valid proof of purchase during this time.

Warranty Policy

Geographic Scope: This warranty is valid only for IZI consumer products purchased in India via authorized channels, including the official IZI website.

Coverage Eligibility: The warranty applies to the original end-use purchaser or the recipient of the product if received as a gift from the original purchaser. Warranty is valid only in India and applies to the first registered owner. It is non-transferable.

Warranty Duration

The warranty begins from the date of delivery. The product must be registered within 15 days of delivery to activate the warranty.

  • Main Products: 1-year warranty from the date of delivery.
  • Accessories (propellers, cables, mounts): 180 days warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Batteries: 180 days against manufacturing defects only.

Coverage

Warranty covers manufacturing defects and internal mechanical failures. It does not cover physical damage, crash-related faults, water damage, or unauthorized repairs.

Warranty Exclusions

Physical Damage: Includes accidental damage, abuse, water/fire damage, PCB burns due to overcharging, or battery puffing from improper storage.

Cosmetic Wear: Typical wear & tear, including propeller damage, scratches, and material fatigue.

Unauthorized Repairs: Work performed by non-authorized service providers or use of unapproved third-party products.

Altered Serial Numbers: Warranty is void if the original serial number has been tampered with or removed.

Improper Usage: External damage, accidental crashes, improper use, and modifications are excluded from warranty. Such cases may be repaired at an additional cost.

Non-IZI Products

Products not manufactured by IZI are subject to the warranty terms of their respective manufacturers.

Obsolete or Discontinued Products

In the case of discontinued products, IZI may offer a replacement with an equivalent or upgraded model. The replacement value will not exceed the original purchase price.

Additional Charges and Limitations

Customers are responsible for any shipping, installation, or removal costs only when IZI pickup is not available and the customer chooses to self-ship. If pickup is unavailable and the customer self-ships, initial shipping costs may be reimbursed only if the claim is approved, and reimbursement will be made as per IZI’s reimbursement capping policy. Warranty is void if any unauthorized repair attempts have been made.

Initiating a Warranty Claim

To file a warranty claim, please complete our online warranty claim form or contact our Customer Support team at +91 96443 44669. You will need your product’s serial number and proof of purchase (digital copies are accepted).

Claim Processing Time: We aim to process all valid warranty claims within 3–5 business days after receiving the necessary documentation.

Required Documentation & Evidence Submission

Required Documentation: To access warranty services, please provide a copy of the invoice or order confirmation. IZI may request the original invoice for verification.

  • DOA / Transit Claims: A continuous unboxing video is required for DOA and transit damage claims.
  • Functional Defects: Clear photos and/or videos demonstrating the issue.
  • Other Evidence: IZI reserves the right to request additional documentary or physical evidence if needed for claim validation.
  • Note for drones: Drone-related claims will be subject to closer documentary review.

Inspection

Products may need to be sent to our authorized service center for inspection. IZI will arrange pick up where available; if not, customer may self-ship and receive reimbursement if claim approved as per our capping.

Shipping Instructions

When self-shipping, please package the product securely—preferably in its original packaging or using equivalent protective materials—and include a copy of the warranty claim form and proof of purchase.

Service Options (At IZI's discretion)

  • Repair or replace the product or its components at no additional cost for parts or labor.
  • Provide a partial refund, calculated on a prorated basis according to the remaining warranty period.

Repair Services (Outside Warranty)

IZI also offers paid repair services for products that are outside the warranty period or not covered by the warranty.

  • Hardware Repairs: Including screen, battery, camera, and internal components.
  • Software Repairs: Covering OS glitches, app malfunctions, and data recovery.

Repair Process: Inspection → Repair → Testing → Return (via courier). Repair timelines vary based on issue complexity and parts availability.

IZI Care - Extended Warranty Via Protega

IZI does not currently offer accident insurance. However, extended warranty options are available through Protega under the name "IZI Care." Protega is an optional extended warranty plan that can be selected at the time of product checkout.

Policy Update Disclaimer

IZI reserves the right to update warranty terms without prior notice. The latest policy will always apply at the time of claim.
